Uday Walia - Co-Founder, CEO

Uday is a seasoned technology entrepreneur who has brought to market successful internet products in banking, collaboration and recruiting.

Prior to Riiwards, he served as CIO at Pageflakes, the leading platform for personalized start pages. Uday was the Founding CEO and CTO at JobFlash, an award-winning service for automating hourly recruiting which was acquired by market leader Taleo. He was also the Founding CEO and CTO at Done.com, an award-winning wireless messaging service, and Co-Founder/CTO at GetSmart.com which pioneered comparison shopping for credit products on Internet. GetSmart was acquired by Providian.

Prior to entering the startup world, he held management positions at Wells Fargo, Nortel, and Pure Software (acquired by Rational).

Uday holds Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from Pune University, India, obtaining first rank.

Tom Proulx - Director

Tom is a highly regarded entrepreneur. He was a Co-Founder of Intuit and a pioneer of usability testing in the 1980s.

Currently chairman of the board of Netpulse, Inc. as well as WorkingPoint. Tom is board member of Plumchoice, Inc., TradeSync, Yola, and iControl. From 1997 to 2000 Tom served as CEO of Netpulse Communications, Inc.

While working at Intuit in the 1980s and developed the first version of Quicken which became a killer application, Tom pioneered usability testing. In 1985, while Proulx was one of three Intuit employees, Intuit became the first company to shrink wrap floppy disks and manuals. This further revolutionized software development.

Tom is recipient of the Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1992. He holds a BSEE, computer science from Stanford Univserity.

Reena Jadhav - Co-Founder & Advisor

Reena is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for game-changing, value-creating ideas.

Prior to nuAlerts, Ms. Jadhav served as Chief Marketing Officer at Conduit, the leading platform for building communities via toolbars. Before Conduit she co-founded and served as Chief Marketing Officer at JobFlash, an award-winning service for automating hourly recruiting which was acquired by market leader Taleo and also co-founded and ran product marketing at Done.com, an award-winning wireless messaging service. In addition, she worked at Oracle Corporation and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Reena graduated summa cum laude from Wharton Business School with a Bachelors in Science and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a well known moderator and panelist on topics covering Social Networking Platforms. She was recently awarded honoree San Jose Business Journal's Women Executive of the Year in Marketing.

Stan Douglas - Engineering

Stan is a senior manager and technologist with extensive experience both in industry and technology spanning over thirty years. For the past year and a half, Stan has been developing software at a south bay startup to support a cloud based inventory tracking system using passive and active RFID technologies.

Over his career he has held several senior management positions starting with SPRINT when it was just a startup to founding a consulting firm focused on delivering material management systems within the healthcare industry to Director of Systems at an early stage networking company to CIO of a paper mill. This varied background led Stan to Interleaf where he was Senior Vice President responsible for product management and development, worldwide customer support and business development. During his tenure, Stan's team repositioned the product set, which laid the foundation for a future acquisition. He subsequently took over as head of engineering for a local software startup in Pleasanton.

Stan has also served as a management and technology consultant to companies such as Hughes Aircraft, Incyte Genomics, Clearsight Systems and Northrop Grumman. He holds a BS from California State University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.

Damon Miller - Business Development

Damon is a start-up and mobile industry veteran with international experience. He is CEO and Founder of Enov8 Mobile a mobile, social media and digital solutions company that helps businesses acquire, engage, and retain customers.

Before Enov8 he was Vice President Business Development of Platform Products at Poynt, a mobile local search application that at its peak had over 5 million monthly active users.

Previously, he was EVP at UnoMobi (mobile messaging and advertising startup) which was acquired by Poynt in early 2010. Prior to that he was an early executive at Kirusa which during his tenure became one of the top two global suppliers of voice SMS applications to mobile operators and now has over 100 million users globally. Prior to that he was Country Manager AT&T, Japan.

Damon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and his MBA from the Wharton School.

Andy Halliday - Advisor, Operations

Andy is a practiced CEO/entrepreneur with successful track records in chain store specialty retail, retail mall development, technology and social media.

Andy is currently the CEO of EventBoard, and was the Co-Founder of Erodr, a geo-social iOS app.

From 2010-2012 Andy was VP GM SMB Services for Reply, Inc. He was the founder of OurStory.com and Tribbit.com, and the founding executive director of Tagvault.org. Andy was Entertainment Group President for EBS, and played strategic role in Simon Property Group (SPG). He was President of Sacha London, then became the founding Entertainment Group President for EBS. He was the Co-Founder and President of Simon Brand Ventures.
In 1998 Andy joined Excite as VP and GM. In 2000 Andy became the CEO of Contact.com, and in 2001 became the first COO of In-Q-Tel. He co-founded Open Field Software. In 2005 he formed OurStory.
Andy has an MBA from HBS and a BA from Dartmouth


Bengt Eliasson - Advisor, Strategic Partnerships

Bengt has served in a variety of senior sales and management positions during the last 20 years. Bengt has been both in start up environment and global corporations.

Prior to moving to US Bengt held a executive position at IBM Nordic, including thoughtleader for the Retail segment.

Bengt holds a MBA degree from the University of Lund, and post graduate studies from IMD Lausanne and IBM Global Sales School.

Martin Gieler - Advisor, Product

Martin is a senior program and project manager, business and operations manager with 20 years of experience across different industries such as Small Businesses, Medical, Energy, Telecom, Satellite control systems. During his time as VP Operations at nuAlerts.com Martin has been the go-to person to keep operations going and support customers, while following his passion in product conceptualization and hands-on web design. Over his international career Martin held senior Project Manager positions at Siemens Medical Solutions as well as Siemens Shared Services, was business manager at Siemens Corporate Research, overseeing cross-functional teams and international projects with effective processes, leadership and technical competence.

Martin holds an MBA from St. Mary's College, CA, a PhD in Technical Physics as well as MS in Engineering from Technical University Vienna, Austria.
